Jennifer Walter is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and founder and director of Renewed Health.

Jennifer’s reputation is built on her expertise and the personalized attention she offers to every patient. Her warm and compassionate nature enables her to connect with individuals of all ages. She is dedicated to helping her patients feel their absolute best and achieve health they never thought possible.
Her passion for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and attention to detail is evident through the success of each satisfied patient.

​Originally from Montreal, Canada, she obtained a nursing diploma from John Abbott College (2001), followed by a BSN (2003) and MSN (2006) from the University of Ottawa, and further pursued a post-master nurse practitioner degree from the University of Toronto (2012). Jennifer has spent over 20 years working in healthcare, practicing the last eleven years in primary care, mental health, and addiction medicine before pursuing advanced training in bioidentical hormone replacement. She’s held clinical, management, teaching, and research positions at renowned institutes, including McGill University, Montreal, Canada; University of Minnesota; and Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Having recently relocated to Rhode Island, Jennifer spent the last ten years of her career in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her devoted husband and three young active boys! In addition to her passion for BHRT and preventive health, Jennifer loves to play sports with her boys and loves to travel.
